Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
With minimal guidance execute facilities services and repairs of moderate complexity including handling tasks like operating power tools, site preparation, and transporting materials.
Assist employees in routine duties, techniques, and department goals.
Perform basic repairs or equipment installations, painting, and small carpentry repairs.
Follow and promote continuous improvement of workplace safety, environmental practices, area processes, and waste reduction opportunities.
Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Ability to independently operate construction related equipment and use applicable supplies, hand, and power tools.
Ability to perform basic repairs including carpentry, painting, and equipment installation.
Demonstrated ability to effectively and efficiently complete projects and tasks.
Read, understand, follow, and strictly enforce safety procedures.
Work various shifts, hours, and days depending on workload.
Possess a valid driver's license.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Willingness to travel up to 5 days at a time.
Background check results satisfactory to SEL
Negative drug test result(s)
Preferred Qualifications:
4 years of experience in commercial facility maintenance and operations.
Experience with maintenance, repair and installation of HVAC, electrical, and/or plumbing.
Physical Requirements:
Lift and maneuver 40 pounds frequently
Pull weight from high/low shelves
Ability to safely ascend and descend ladders

Bend
Grip
Twist
Stand for at least 8 hours

Pay Range Data:
Construction Laborer: $22.93 - 33.89 per hour. Our pay ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
