Job Details:We are seeking a dynamic, mid-level Attorney to join our high-performing legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, construction law, and will be ready to hit the ground running, providing legal counsel and support to our diverse clientele. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of cases, from complex construction disputes to general litigation matters, and to be part of a team that values collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal support and advice to clients in the construction industry.
- Handle all phases of litigation, including case analysis, preparation of pleadings, discovery, and court appearances.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and other legal documents.
- Conduct thorough and detailed legal research to support arguments and positions.
- Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Collaborate with the legal team to develop strategies for complex cases.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations related to construction law and general litigation.
- Provide training and guidance to junior attorneys and legal staff.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an attorney, with a focus on litigation and construction law.
- Current membership in good standing with the State Bar.
- Proven track record of managing multiple cases and the ability to deliver results under pressure.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to interpret and draft legal documents.
- Strong research and report-writing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
- High ethical standards and professionalism in dealing with clients, colleagues, and the court.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in the use of legal research software and other legal technologies.
