- Crew Management: Supervise and guide construction crews, assigning tasks and ensuring high-quality, timely work.
- Mentorship & Training: Provide on-the-job education in construction and repair techniques to less experienced staff.
- Site Layout & Efficiency: Organize and manage the physical layout of work sites for safety, accessibility, and efficiency.
- Project Oversight: Monitor day-to-day progress to ensure timely, budget-conscious project completion.
- Communication: Maintain clear communication with subcontractors, internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Subcontractor Coordination: Oversee external workers on-site, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Safety Monitoring: Enforce all safety standards and ensure proper use of tools and equipment across work sites.
- Reporting: Document progress, materials usage, and communicate updates or issues to Facilities leadership.
- At least five years of experience in construction, building, and repair work (or a comparable combination of education and experience).
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex project workflows.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Comfortable lifting 50–100 pounds as needed on job sites.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations; OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
