Job Description

Construction Litigation Attorney | 2+ Years Experience

A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Construction Litigation Attorney with at least 2 years of litigation experience to join its team. This role involves representing clients in a broad range of construction-related disputes, from pre-litigation counseling through trial.

Responsibilities:

Represent owners, contractors, subcontractors, developers, and/or design professionals in construction litigation and disputes
Draft and respond to pleadings, discovery, and motions
Handle matters involving construction defects, contract disputes, delay claims, mechanic's liens, and payment disputes
Take and defend depositions
Represent clients at mediation, arbitration, and in state and federal court
Advise clients on construction contract review and risk management

Qualifications:

2+ years of litigation experience; construction litigation experience preferred
Active bar admission to New Hampshire
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Experience with discovery, motion practice, and court appearances preferred
Ability to manage a caseload independently in a fast-paced environment
