Job DetailsWe are seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced Construction Paralegal.This role supports attorneys handling complex construction defect and construction litigation matters on behalf of developers, owners, contractors, design professionals, and insurers. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation support experience, familiarity with Florida construction disputes, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast‑paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive litigation support in construction defect and construction-related mattersDraft and assist with pleadings, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and correspondenceManage document production, review, and organization, including electronically stored informationAssist with preparing case chronologies, factual summaries, and damages analysesCoordinate inspections, expert involvement, deposition scheduling, mediations, and hearingsMaintain case files, deadlines, and calendars in compliance with court and firm requirementsCite‑check and assemble motions, exhibits, and trial bindersCommunicate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel as neededSupport attorneys during mediations, hearings, and trial preparationAssist with compliance related to Florida construction defect statutes, notices, and proceduresQualificationsParalegal certificate or equivalent experience3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in construction defect or construction litigationStrong knowledge of Florida civil procedure and litigation support practicesExperience managing complex document‑intensive casesProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal case management systemsFamiliarity with e‑discovery platforms is a plusExcellent organizational, time‑management, and attention‑to‑detail skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentExperience supporting construction defect or multi‑party litigation mattersFamiliarity with construction documents (contracts, plans, specifications)Trial or arbitration support experienceExperience working with experts such as engineers or architectsInterested in hearing more?
