Job Description

Job Title: Construction Manager 5 Location: Quincy , MA Salary Range: $100/hr to $105/hr on W2 Introduction

The Construction Manager will be directly responsible for monitoring and refining the long-range and short-term plans to ensure the success of the construction project. This role involves directing and coordinating day-to-day activities in the field, managing and coordinating the flow of information, controlling costs, managing schedules, implementing and monitoring safety programs, and ensuring that completed work meets quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
10 years of experience in construction management or related roles.
Knowledge of design and construction processes, quality control, costs, and schedule management.
Proficiency in computer software such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, and others.
Experience with Data Center Fiber Installation Projects.
Knowledge of construction delivery methods like Design-build, Design-bid build, CM-at Risk, and Design Assist

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

PMI or PMP certification or similar applicable certifications.
Experience with Data Center Fiber Installation Projects.
Knowledge of construction delivery methods like Design-build, Design-bid build, CM-at Risk, and Design Assist.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate company personnel and resources for the projects.
Assist with preconstruction efforts and manage all aspects of the project from inception through closeout.
Review trade contracts and bid packages, and oversee the procurement process.
Oversee project performance, including status, procurement, equipment delivery, schedule, cost control, safety, and change management systems.
Maintain relationships with internal partners, designers, consultants, and the GC team.
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure compliance with specifications and company standards.
