Job Title: Construction Manager 5
Location: Des Moines, IA
Salary Range: $105/hr to $107/hr on W2
Introduction
We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate activities in various fields, including engineering, research and development, and financial systems. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure successful project completion.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage one’s time effectively.
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and techniques for maximizing manufacturing and distribution efficiency.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
- Proficiency in computer software such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and Visio.
- Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry.
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
- 10 years of experience required.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- PMI or PMP certification preferred.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
- Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.
- Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
- Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
- Confer with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
- Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.
