Job Description
AlphaHire is recruiting on behalf of a client seeking a Construction Manager to oversee civil site development and infrastructure projects in the Twin Falls, Idaho area. This role combines project design coordination, estimating, and field leadership to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
The position works closely with company leadership and plays a key role in managing crews, coordinating construction activities, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. This opportunity is well suited for a construction professional with experience in asphalt paving, concrete, and site development who is ready to take on broader project ownership.
Responsibilities
- Manage civil construction projects including roadway development, building pads, and site work
- Prepare project estimates, cost projections, and budget tracking
- Coordinate project design and layout using CAD or related design tools
- Oversee field supervisors and construction crews to ensure productivity and safety
- Maintain communication with clients throughout project execution
- Review construction plans, specifications, and schedules to ensure project alignment
- Identify and resolve field issues quickly to minimize delays and maintain project timelines
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractor activities
- Maintain project documentation, reports, and administrative records
- Ensure projects comply with safety standards, quality expectations, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Approximately 5+ years of experience in civil construction or site development
- Experience with asphalt paving, concrete work, and site preparation projects
- Strong understanding of construction estimating and project budgeting
- Experience managing field crews, supervisors, and construction schedules
- Ability to read and interpret civil construction drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with CAD or similar design software for project planning or layout
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in field environments
- Effective communication skills with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
