Construction Manager (Transmission & Substation)Berlin, CT 06037System One is seeking Construction Manager (Transmission & Substation) to provide field-based constructability and feasibility insight during the development of transmission and substation capital projects. The role supports early assessments, ensuring that design and planning efforts incorporate field conditions and requirements necessary for future construction as part of the Shovel Ready Initiative. This is a great opportunity to join a respected client in the engineering and construction services sector!Important Details:
Contract-to-hire position with possibility of conversion to permanent position after 520 hour worked
Pay rate range: $50 - $60/hr. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Start date: As soon as possible
Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM EST
Work location: Berlin, CT 06037 - 100% field work

Job offer will be contingent on drug screen and background check
Essential Functions:
Conduct constructability and site feasibility reviews during project development for identified shelf projects
Validate access, workspace, and site conditions
Provide input on anticipated construction constraints and risks to engineering and project management to support project development
Support outage feasibility planning during early development
Experience and Education:
5 to 10 years of experience
A degree would be preferred but it’s not mandatory
