Construction Manager

Job Title: Construction Manager Location: Wexford, PA Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $100000 - $110000 annually Contractor Work Model: Onsite System One is currently seeking a Construction Manager on a direct hire position located in Wexford, PA. Construction Manager Responsibilities:

• Responsible for planning, coordinating and overseeing the field construction of glass furnaces, forehearths and associated process systems within industrial manufacturing facilities.
• Provides on-site leadership to ensure that all refractory, structural steel and mechanical is executed safely, on schedule, within budget and in strict accordance with design specifications and quality standards.
• Serves as the primary point of contact between the client, engineering teams, subcontractors and plant personnel.
• Review construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Develop detailed work plans and schedules.
• Coordinate refractory demolition and installation, steel modifications and forehearth channel construction.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and site-specific procedures.
• Conduct daily safety meetings.
• Enforce Job Safety Analyses (JSAs).
• Monitor contractor performance.
• Track progress against milestones.
• Proactively resolves technical and logistical challenges to prevent delays.

Construction Manager Requirements:

• Extensive experience in industrial construction, preferably within glass manufacturing or high-temperature refractory environments.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage schedule-driven furnace rebuilds in operating plant environments.
