Are you an experienced construction professional looking to lead large-scale projects in a dynamic environment? We are seeking a Senior Construction Manager to oversee and ensure the successful execution of substation and transmission construction projects in beautiful Boulder City, NV. This role offers the perfect blend of leadership, field oversight, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage construction work performed by contractors and vendors at the project site.
Assess productivity, schedule compliance, work quality, and safety performance.
Manage walk downs of planned work and validate acceptance of completed work to design requirements.
Provide leadership and coaching to Construction Supervisors and supplemental workforce.
Act as a critical bridge between field operations and customer leadership.
Address logistical challenges and resolve conflicts to keep construction activities on track.
Survey and observe contractor Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) practices.

Requirements

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Power Generation, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
11 - 15 years of experience in power plant commissioning, working with EPC Contractors, engineering firms, and equipment suppliers.
Strong understanding of engineering principles related to power plant commissioning.
Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage complex negotiations.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Preferences

Experience in substation or industrial construction.
Proficiency in understanding engineering drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of safety and environmental requirements.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
