Job Description

Construction Partner | Fort Lauderdale, Florida

A growing national law firm is seeking a Construction Partner to join its Fort Lauderdale office. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced construction attorney looking to join a collaborative and expanding platform with sophisticated work, strong internal support, and a strategic commitment to continued growth in South Florida. No portable book of business is required.

Responsibilities

  • Handle complex construction litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution matters
  • Advise developers, contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, and other construction industry clients
  • Draft and negotiate construction and design-related agreements
  • Manage matters from pre-suit strategy through resolution, including motion practice, depositions, mediation, and trial preparation
  • Provide practical risk management and project-level advisory support to clients
  • Collaborate with attorneys across related practice groups including real estate, commercial litigation, and corporate matters

Qualifications

  • Significant experience handling construction litigation and/or transactional construction matters
  • Strong background in complex dispute resolution, contract negotiation, and client management
  • Experience representing construction industry stakeholders in sophisticated matters
  • Excellent writing, advocacy, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
  • Florida Bar admission required
