Construction Partner | Fort Lauderdale, Florida
A growing national law firm is seeking a Construction Partner to join its Fort Lauderdale office. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced construction attorney looking to join a collaborative and expanding platform with sophisticated work, strong internal support, and a strategic commitment to continued growth in South Florida. No portable book of business is required.
Responsibilities
- Handle complex construction litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution matters
- Advise developers, contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, and other construction industry clients
- Draft and negotiate construction and design-related agreements
- Manage matters from pre-suit strategy through resolution, including motion practice, depositions, mediation, and trial preparation
- Provide practical risk management and project-level advisory support to clients
- Collaborate with attorneys across related practice groups including real estate, commercial litigation, and corporate matters
Qualifications
- Significant experience handling construction litigation and/or transactional construction matters
- Strong background in complex dispute resolution, contract negotiation, and client management
- Experience representing construction industry stakeholders in sophisticated matters
- Excellent writing, advocacy, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
- Florida Bar admission required
