Lead Construction Estimator or Pre Construction Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects is requiredReview, create, submit quality estimates with detailed proposalsPrepare high level quantity and manpower take-offsProspect and procure new opportunities for bidComprehensively analyze plans, specifications, proposals and additional documentation to prepare bid estimates for projectsAttend site visits, pre-bid meetings, jobsite walk-throughs, bids, and coordination meetingsMust maintain an extremely professional working relationship with clients, subcontractors, and peersOther duties as assignedRequirements:

Desire and determination to succeedBachelor’s degree or combination of education and years of experienceThe ability to proficiently provide estimates & estimating servicesExperience with conceptual and schematic design budgetingComputer skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; knowledge of On-Screen Takeoff preferredKnowledge of construction processes and terminologyAbility to read and understand blueprintsExcellent math skillsStrong organizational, prioritization, and time management skillsAbility to fully understand plans and specificationsMinimum 3 years of experience as a commercial construction estimator
