Job Description
We are looking for a Construction Manager to take on a key leadership role within a growing civil construction company in Twin Falls, Idaho. This position works directly with company ownership and plays a critical role in managing projects from design through execution.
This is a “key man” opportunity for someone earlier in their career who has strong hands-on experience in civil site work and is ready to step into broader ownership across estimating, project management, and field operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage civil construction projects including roadway development, building pads, asphalt paving, and site work
- Prepare project estimates, takeoffs, and cost projections to support accurate bidding and budgeting
- Coordinate project design and layout using CAD or similar tools
- Oversee field supervisors and crews to ensure productivity, safety, and quality standards
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules for alignment and execution
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle
- Identify and resolve field and project issues quickly to maintain timelines and profitability
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractors across multiple projects
- Maintain project documentation including reports, change orders, and job tracking
Requirements
- ~5+ years of experience in civil construction or site development
- Hands-on experience with asphalt paving, concrete, and site preparation
- Strong understanding of estimating, budgeting, and project cost control
- Experience managing field crews and coordinating construction activities
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with CAD or similar design tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate in fast-paced field environments
- Effective communication skills with clients, crews, and leadership
