Job Title: Construction Project ManagerLocation: Louisville, KY (Extensive Travel Required)Compensation: $95,000 Target Base Salary + Travel Opportunities

Are you a hands-on Construction Project Manager who thrives in the field and enjoys leading crews through complex installations and startups? We are partnering with a well-established engineering and construction firm seeking a strong field leader to oversee multi-trade projects at customer sites nationwide.

This is a high-visibility role with significant autonomy, direct interaction with engineering teams and customers, and the opportunity to lead projects from installation through commissioning and startup.

What You’ll Do

Lead and coordinate field crews across multiple trades during installation, fabrication, commissioning, and startup
Ensure all work meets project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements
Serve as the on-site point of contact for Engineering and the customer
Proactively solve field challenges and remove obstacles for crews
Communicate job status, resource needs, and progress updates to Project Engineers and Coordinators
Issue change orders, redline drawings, and provide required customer documentation
Oversee site safety compliance and conduct toolbox talks
Collect and manage timecards and project documentation
Support system startup and checkout as needed
Provide post-project feedback to internal stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

Associate’s Degree or trade school equivalent
5–7+ years of construction management or superintendent experience
Background in plumbing, mechanical, or process systems strongly preferred
Willingness to travel 70%+ (projects located at customer sites nationwide)
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass driver health screening
Strong leadership and communication skills
High attention to detail and organizational ability
Comfortable using technology and Microsoft Office tools in the field
