Job Description

About the Company

Galloway & Company, Inc. is a people-first company where collaboration, innovation, and career growth are at the heart of everything we do. You will grow personally and professionally with a supportive culture, flexible work environment, and strong focus on leadership development. You'll also work on diverse, impactful projects alongside multidisciplinary professionals who are passionate about making a difference. At Galloway, you're not just building communities — you're building a fulfilling career.

About the Role

As a Construction Project Manager at Galloway, you'll be the connective tissue between owners, designers, contractors, and the field — keeping projects on track from pre-construction through closeout. You'll spend your days moving between the jobsite and the office, leading punchwalks and progress meetings one moment and coordinating budgets and change orders the next, all while working hand-in-hand with a team that values clear communication and proactive problem-solving as much as technical know-how. If you thrive on variety, enjoy being the person who keeps every stakeholder aligned, and want to grow within a team that genuinely collaborates across disciplines, this role offers no shortage of opportunity to make an impact.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Project Management: Monitor contractor operations to ensure compliance with contract plans, specifications, and obligations through pre-con meetings, progress site observations, punchwalks, and weekly coordination with contractors. Coordinate and schedule various phases of construction inspections, SWMP implementation, and permit compliance.

  • Teamwork and Communication: Take a proactive approach to identifying and resolving field issues and conflicts in coordination with the project team and supervisors. Work collaboratively with owners, designers, contractors, and other key stakeholders.

  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and process comprehensive project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, field directives, and change orders. Document all field activities and site observations. Create and present weekly and monthly project reports and conduct weekly progress meetings.

  • Scheduling and Closeout: Perform project schedule analysis, manage punchlists, warranty reviews, and project closeout procedures.

  • Relationship Management: Communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, subconsultants, and agency staff, demonstrating the ability to read and interpret complex plans and specifications.

  • Admin Duties: Plan reviews, submitting contract amendments, attending virtual meetings to discuss project scopes, cost estimating, budgeting, invoicing in the office. Preparing and presenting site investigation findings to client, and providing professional recommendations.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Engineering, Construction Management or Related field preferred

  • Typically, 8+ years of experience in Construction Management and Project Administration

  • Ideal candidates will have construction management experience on asphalt and concrete pavement projects.

  • Ability to travel up to 50%.

  • Ability to flex from construction management work to in-office coordination and team support.

Estimated starting salary for this position is between $115,000 – $140,000 based on experience.

Beyond Base Salary

We’ve cultivated a culture rooted in collaboration, growth, and innovation. Here’s what you can expect:

  • 100% employer-paid benefits, setting a high standard in the industry
  • Opportunities for biannual performance bonuses and profit sharing
  • A workplace culture that emphasizes internal promotion, mentorship, and career advancement
  • Nationally recognized as a great place to work—thanks to our outstanding teams and commitment to quality
