Eden Prairie, MN | $110,000–$130,000 | Direct Hire | Onsite

Our client, a growing commercial construction firm in the southwest metro, is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role owns financial performance, schedule execution, subcontractor coordination, and client relationships, while partnering closely with field leadership to ensure high-quality delivery.

The ideal candidate brings strong budget management experience, leadership presence, and the ability to drive projects forward while maintaining alignment with ownership and design partners. Multifamily experience is a plus.

Construction Project Manager Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of assigned projects including preconstruction planning, procurement, construction, and closeout.
• Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow to meet margin and profitability targets.
• Administer contracts including subcontract buyout, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and pay applications.
• Maintain strong relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and trade partners.
• Provide leadership to field teams and support staff while promoting a proactive safety culture.

Construction Project Manager Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction experience with at least 5 years in a Project Management role.
• Strong understanding of construction means and methods with demonstrated financial oversight experience.
• Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Multifamily experience and OSHA 30 certification preferred.
