Our client is a large, well‑established public works general contractor with a strong and consistent NYSCA project portfolio across NYC. Known for their scale, resources, and long‑standing agency relationships, they offer stability, structure, and the opportunity to work on high‑impact public infrastructure and school projects.Description
- Manage NYSCA public works projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Oversee restoration scopes within occupied or sensitive environments.
- Coordinate with NYSCA, consultants, inspectors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Control schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure strict adherence to public works regulations, safety standards, and contract requirements.
Profile
A successful Project Manager should have:
- 5+ years of experience managing NYSCA construction projects.
- Strong background in restoration work within public or institutional settings.
- Preferred degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture.
- Highly organized with excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Confident managing multiple stakeholders in a compliance‑heavy environment.
