Construction Project Manager

Overlook Projects

Based near Chapel Hill / Durham / Hillsborough

$80,000$100,000 (DOE) + Profit Sharing

Full-Time | Field-Based Leadership Role

Lead High-End Residential Projects. Not Corporate Builds.

Overlook Projects is hiring a Construction Project Manager to oversee custom residential builds and renovations across the Triangle region.

This is a field-first leadership role, not a desk-only PM position. You'll manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships, while maintaining a strong on-site presence to ensure quality and

execution.

We are a design-driven, boutique residential builder focused on craftsmanship, clear communication, and integrity.

What You'll Do

  • Manage ground-up custom homes and high-end renovations from
  • pre-construction through punch
  • Develop and maintain schedules and budgets
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and material procurement
  • Enforce safety and ensure compliance with building codes
  • Lead site meetings with homeowners, architects, and trades
  • Oversee quality control and solve field issues proactively
  • Use construction management software (Materio, Buildertrend,
  • CoConstruct, etc.)
  • Maintain clear communication with clients and internal leadership

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of residential construction project management experience
  • Strong background in field operations or carpentry
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple active
  • sites
  • Experience with construction management platforms
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Independent, accountable, and solutions-oriented
  • Based within ~30 minutes of Chapel Hill / Durham / Hillsborough

Compensation & Benefits
