Base Salary + Performance Commission | Six-Figure Earning Potential

ServiceMaster Restore is looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to manage residential and commercial reconstruction projects following water, fire, and other property damage.

Our Project Managers don't simply schedule subcontractors. They own their projects from approved scope through completion and collection-including schedule, customer communication, subcontractors, budget, quality, and profitability.

What You'll Do

  • Manage reconstruction projects from authorization through completion.
  • Review estimates, scopes, plans, and project requirements.
  • Develop schedules and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, materials, permits, and inspections.
  • Conduct jobsite visits and communicate regularly with customers.
  • Monitor project budgets, costs, revenue, and gross profit.
  • Review subcontractor bids and negotiate pricing.
  • Identify cost overruns and take corrective action.
  • Manage change orders and insurance supplements.
  • Review subcontractor and vendor invoices.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and financial information.
  • Resolve customer and jobsite issues.
  • Ensure projects meet company quality standards.
  • Drive projects through completion, billing, collection, and closeout.
  • Develop strong relationships with subcontractors and trade partners.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who takes ownership and understands both construction and the financial side of project management.

Candidates may come from restoration, remodeling, general contracting, homebuilding, roofing, commercial construction, multifamily, or specialty contracting.

Insurance restoration experience is a plus, but we're willing to teach restoration to a strong construction professional.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Understands construction sequencing and job costing.
  • Is comfortable managing customers and subcontractors.
  • Pays attention to gross profit-not just revenue.
  • Can negotiate and hold trade partners accountable.
  • Identifies problems before they become emergencies.
  • Communicates proactively and follows through.
  • Can make decisions independently.
  • Takes responsibility for results.

What Success Looks Like

Our Project Managers should always know:

Where does the project stand?

What needs to happen next?

What could delay it?

Are we achieving the expected gross profit?

We balance:

Customer Experience + Quality + Schedule + Profitability

A project isn't finished until it is:

Completed → Documented → Billed → Collected → Closed

Compensation & Opportunity

Base Salary + Performance-Based Commission/Bonus

Our compensation plan rewards production volume and profitability, giving high-performing Project Managers the opportunity to earn six-figure total compensation.

We provide an established restoration brand, project opportunities, administrative support, technology, training, and opportunities for advancement.

Requirements

  • Construction project management, remodeling, restoration, or related experience.
  • Knowledge of residential construction and common building trades.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and vendors.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple active projects.
  • Comfortable managing budgets and project financials.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements.
  • Computer/tablet proficiency.

Experience with Xactimate, insurance restoration, estimating, or property insurance claims is a plus.
