Job Description

Immediate need for a talented Construction Project Manager with Utilities Domain. This is a 12+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Oakbrook Terrace, IL (Hybrid). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $55 - $60/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

Developing project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
Leading project teams and coordinating activities to ensure that project goals are met.
Monitoring project progress and identifying and addressing issues or risks.
Communicating with stakeholders and senior management to provide updates on project status.
Managing project budgets and ensuring that projects are delivered within budget.
Ensuring that projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
Developing and maintaining relationships with project stakeholders and external partners.
Leading project meetings and facilitating discussions to drive project progress.
Managing project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and reports.
Supporting the development and implementation of project management best practices and processes.
Project Managers Mid should have strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

Project Management experience (3+ years)
Utility experience (Electric, Gas, or Water) or Civil construction experience or Engineering experience directly working on Utility installation/relocation projects
Experience reviewing contract proposals/bids
Experience with preparing the project forecasting (e.g. Monthly Cash Flows)
Project Management
Reading/Interpreting Civil construction plans
Financial Forecasting (Monthly Cash Flows) of projects
