Description

Construction Safety Associate is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on field work and helping build safer job sites. This role is based in the St. Louis Metro Area, supporting active construction sites across Missouri and Illinois, with a small, focused safety team and strong training and support. If you have construction management and/or construction safety experience, you’ll play a key role in inspections, coaching, and documentation while working directly with crews and supervisors.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Construction Safety Associate position include:

Perform and document safety inspections at active construction job sites.
Monitor job site safety compliance and help enforce customer safety protocols.
Lead new hire safety orientations and ensure required documentation is completed.
Facilitate weekly safety toolbox meetings for customer employees.
Identify unsafe behaviors or conditions and provide proactive coaching to correct them.
Support Job Hazard Analyses, pre-shift safety reviews, and other required safety processes.
Investigate incidents, including injuries, accidents, and near misses, and help implement corrective actions.
Maintain required safety documentation, reports, and records while ensuring adherence to OSHA regulations and client safety standards.

Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, PTO, paid holidays, 401(k), and an annual performance-based bonus are provided, with the company paying about 85% of single medical coverage and 20% of dependent coverage.
