Job Description
Job Title: Construction Safety Manager 4 Location: Austin , TX Salary Range: $95/hr to $100/hr on W2
Introduction
Join our team as a Construction Safety Manager, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of construction operations at a hyperscale data center. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence program-level safety and drive systemic improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Energized systems / commissioning phases
- Electrical safety standards such as NFPA 70 E, LOTO, tiered safety programs
- Experience with ground disturbance, working at heights, material handling, confined space, noise, heat extremes, chemical handling
- Exposure to hyperscale data center builds
- Phased turnover environments, retrofits, tenant construction (construction → operations overlap)
- Prior work experience in data centers, mission-critical, hyperscale, industrial/commercial construction safety
- Attend scheduled construction coordination meetings weekly
- Conduct site walks weekly or daily (if onsite every day)
- Applicants must be able to work directly for the company on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Revit or Bluebeam
- Knowledge of P6 software
- Associate's degree in business or related field
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Attend scheduled construction coordination meetings weekly
- Conduct site walks weekly or daily (if onsite every day)
- Document three observations per visit and communicate observations to lease partner
- Complete weekly activity reports as required
- Participate in scheduled safety meetings
