Job DetailsThe Construction Safety Manager will lead the organization's safety program and ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and company safety requirements. This individual will partner with project teams, field leadership, subcontractors, and executive management to promote a proactive safety culture and reduce risk across all job sites.Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular project site safety inspections and audits.
- Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide safety policies and procedures. - Lead incident investigations and recommend corrective actions. - Facilitate safety training, orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing education initiatives. - Monitor OSHA compliance and maintain required documentation. - Review project-specific safety plans and subcontractor safety programs. - Track safety metrics, trends, and performance indicators. - Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate potential risks before work begins. - Serve as the primary safety resource for field personnel and project leadership.Desired Qualifications
  • 5+ years of construction safety experience with a general contractor, construction manager, or design-build firm.
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations, construction safety standards, and risk management practices.
  • Experience conducting jobsite audits, investigations, and safety training.
  • OSHA 30 required; CHST, CSP, ASP, or similar certifications preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence both field and office personnel.
  • Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to regional project sites as needed.
