Job Description
A Construction Sales Engineer / Sales Representative / Technical Sales Engineer is required to join an industry leader in Seattle. The successful Construction Sales Engineer / Sales Representative / Technical Sales Engineer will come from an automation controls background and have experience selling building automation systems and HVAC controls to engineers, contractors, and owners. Package: $60,000 - $100,000 Bonus Scheme 401k Life Insurance PTO Car AllowanceConstruction Sales Engineer / Sales Representative / Technical Sales Engineer Responsibilities:
- Grow business across all market segments by regularly engaging with assigned customers.
- Maintain active communication and relationships with in-house personnel and buying influences.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers to expand territory interactions.
- Identify and develop new customers and sales opportunities.
- Partner with customers to understand project specifications and ensure proposals meet requirements.
- Recommend adjustments to sales strategies/tactics based on evaluations.
- Negotiate orders, including technical, commercial, and legal details.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present ideas, concepts, and solutions professionally.
- Experience managing a sales territory and developing/executing business plans.
- Expertise in Automation is essential.
- Knowledge in building automation is beneficial.
- Preferably resides within 45 minutes of Renton, WA
