Description

Ameritech Contracting is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive ConstructiveScheduler to join our Operations Team. This role will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6. The Scheduler will work closely with project managers, field teams, and stakeholders to ensure accurate forecasting, progress tracking, and timely completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update project schedules in Primavera P6 across multiple projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers and operations staff to establish baselines, milestones, and critical paths.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates, variance analysis, and schedule impact assessments.
  • Prepare detailed reports and dashboards to communicate schedule performance to leadership and clients.
  • Identify potential risks and delays, propose recovery plans, and support proactive problem-solving.
  • Maintain historical schedule data for use in forecasting and future project planning.
  • Support resource loading and allocation within the schedule to align manpower and equipment with project needs.
  • Coordinate schedule reviews and updates with subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in scheduling for construction or federal contracting operations.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 (required).
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, critical path method (CPM), and project controls.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
