Job Description

JOB TITLE: Construction SchedulerTOP SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience developing and maintaining construction schedules for large-scale, complex projects data center, mission-critical, industrial, or energy infrastructure experience strongly preferred.
  • Expert proficiency in Primavera P6; working knowledge of Microsoft Project or equivalent.
  • Deep understanding of construction sequencing, critical path methodology (CPM), and earned value management (EVM).
  • Experience reviewing and challenging GC-submitted schedules and managing schedule compliance through construction.

POSITION SUMMARY:This is a high-impact contractor role sitting at the intersection of design, construction, and program management. You will own the integrated master schedule for active construction programs from early sitework and mass grading through MEP installation, commissioning, and facility turnover and work closely with our Design & Engineering, Construction, and Real Estate teams to ensure every project delivers on time.RESPONSIBILITIES:Schedule Development & Ownership

  • Develop, own, and maintain integrated master schedules for multiple concurrent data center construction programs from NTP through turnover, using Primavera P6 or equivalent scheduling software.
  • Build project-specific construction schedules incorporating civil, structural, MEP, technology, and specialty scopes, coordinating logic ties and dependencies across all disciplines.
  • Establish and maintain early work package schedules (mass grading, underground utilities, site enablement) to protect critical path and accelerate overall program delivery.
  • Develop commissioning and systems integration schedules in alignment with construction milestones, ensuring phased energization and turnover sequences are captured and tracked.
Program Reporting & Risk Management
  • Produce weekly and monthly schedule status reports for project teams and leadership, clearly communicating schedule health, critical path, float consumption, and near-term look-ahead windows.
  • Identify schedule risks, delays, and interdependency conflicts ahead of the team flag issues before they become problems and drive resolution across GC, design, and owner teams.
  • Maintain a portfolio-level schedule dashboard giving leadership real-time visibility into milestone status across all active programs.
  • Perform schedule impact analysis for change events, weather delays, supply chain disruptions, and other schedule-affecting conditions; support time impact analysis (TIA) and claim review.
GC & Consultant Coordination
  • Review and validate GC-submitted construction schedules for logic, resource loading, sequencing, and alignment with contract milestones; provide written comments and track resolution.
  • Facilitate schedule alignment meetings with GCs, subcontractors, and design teams; drive accountability to schedule commitments and document decisions.
  • Coordinate long-lead equipment delivery schedules with procurement and ensure they are integrated into the master program schedule with appropriate float and contingency.
  • Interface with design and engineering teams to ensure design deliverable schedules are tied to construction need dates and procurement milestones.
Standards & Infrastructure
  • Build Fluidstack's scheduling templates, WBS structures, coding standards, and baseline schedule frameworks to support rapid program startup across new sites.
  • Establish schedule review cadences, update protocols, and reporting templates that create consistency and accountability across the portfolio.
  • Maintain historical schedule data and lessons learned to continuously improve schedule accuracy and baseline assumptions for future programs.

QUALIFICATIONS: Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience developing and maintaining construction schedules for large-scale, complex projects data center, mission-critical, industrial, or energy infrastructure experience strongly preferred.
  • Expert proficiency in Primavera P6; working knowledge of Microsoft Project or equivalent.
  • Deep understanding of construction sequencing, critical path methodology (CPM), and earned value management (EVM).
  • Experience reviewing and challenging GC-submitted schedules and managing schedule compliance through construction.
  • Strong analytical skills able to model schedule impacts, communicate float and risk clearly, and translate complex schedule data into actionable leadership reporting.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent programs in a fast-paced, owner/developer environment.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites across the US (estimated 20 30%).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in hyperscale data center, large-scale industrial, or mission-critical facility construction scheduling.
  • Familiarity with modular and prefabricated construction delivery models and how they integrate with site construction schedules.
  • Experience with phased campus delivery managing multiple buildings and infrastructure packages across a single site.
  • Proficiency with BIM coordination platforms (Autodesk Client / BIM 360, Navisworks) and how model-based workflows intersect with scheduling.
  • Exposure to commissioning scheduling for complex MEP and electrical systems including HV/MV switchgear, chillers, UPS, and generator systems.
  • PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP), AACE Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP), or equivalent credential.
  • Owner/developer-side experience managing GC schedule compliance rather than producing schedules as the GC.
