You will be responsible for overseeing commercial or residential projects from the initial concept to the final nail. You will work with a team of professionals to ensure our projects are completed on time and within budget. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our company, while honing your skills in project management and leadership. Our ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, problem solver, and has a keen eye for detail.Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the construction project from planning to implementation.
• Allocate resources for assigned projects.
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors.
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients.
• Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
• Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management in the construction industry.
• Proven experience as a construction project manager.
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and construction/project management software.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• A team player with leadership abilities.
• PMP or an equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
• Ability to read blueprints, structural drawings, and plan sets.
• Advanced understanding of risk management policies and procedures.
• Extensive experience managing budgets for large construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
• Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
