Job Title:

Construction Sourcing Manager - US

Company:

Prologis

A day in the life

Prologis is seeking a Construction Sourcing Manager to lead General Contractor (GC) sourcing for industrial/logistics development projects across assigned U.S. markets. This is an owner-side construction procurement / strategic sourcing role partnering with Development and Construction teams to run competitive RFP/RFQ bid events, drive bid leveling and commercial evaluation, and deliver clear, data-driven contractor selection recommendations.

You'll manage multiple and concurrent sourcing events, lead bidder communications, and translate complex GMP, lump sum, and cost proposals into clean, comparable insights. This role focuses on commercial sourcing rigor, market intelligence, contract readiness, and supplier evaluation-helping Prologis deliver consistent outcomes across projects and regions.

Key responsibilities include:

GC Sourcing & RFP Execution

  • Lead end-to-end GC RFP execution: timelines, bid packages, instructions to bidders, Q&A, agenda, submissions, and compliance.
  • Coordinate GC prequalification and bidder lists to ensure competitive coverage and qualified participation.
  • Drive consistent sourcing practices using standardized templates, tools, and workflows.

Bid Leveling, Pricing Analysis & Cost Intelligence

  • Perform bid leveling and commercial analysis (assumptions, inclusions/exclusions, scope alignment, alternates).
  • Structure and normalize bid data for apples-to-apples comparisons; flag outliers, gaps, and inconsistencies.
  • Support development of internal cost intelligence datasets to improve benchmarking and cost visibility.

Cross-Functional Partnership & Contract Readiness

  • Partner with Capital Deployment, Construction/Development Management, and Procurement category managers to support selection decisions and contract readiness.
  • Communicate decision-ready insights to stakeholders with clear narratives and recommendations

Contractor Market Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Support contractor research, qualification, and regional coverage strategies; contribute to supplier performance inputs and feedback loops.
  • Maintain sourcing documentation and bid data foundations; drive continuous improvement of sourcing processes and reporting.

Building blocks for success

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in construction sourcing, construction procurement, strategic sourcing (capital projects), owner's rep/project management, or related roles supporting development/construction.
  • Hands-on experience running competitive GC RFP/RFQ processes and coordinating multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
  • Strong ability to interpret and structure construction bid data, perform bid leveling, and create decision-ready outputs.
  • Advanced Excel skills (bid tabs, scenario comparisons, normalization); strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical/commercial inputs into clear recommendations.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment and work across U.S. time zones.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting multi-market or enterprise sourcing programs (standard templates, process governance, analytics).
  • Prior experience at a General Contractor / Construction Manager or deep exposure to GC commercial structures.
  • Familiarity with construction contract delivery models (GMP, lump sum, cost-plus) and commercial terms.
  • Experience with e-sourcing tools, procurement platforms, or reporting/visualization tools (e.g., Power BI/Tableau).

Hiring Salary Range of: $109,600- $161,700. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target) to be determined by the candidate's location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
