About the Role:

Join SERVPRO of Douglasville/Carrollton/Troup-Coweta Counties as a Construction Specialist, where you'll play a crucial role in restoring properties to their former glory. We are looking for motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about helping others.

Responsibilities:

Assess and evaluate property damage to determine the scope of construction work needed.
Educate customer on the construction process
Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely completion of construction tasks.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Communicate effectively with clients and team members to provide project updates.
Utilize tools and equipment safely and efficiently for construction tasks.
Document project progress and report any issues to management.
Assist in training new team members on construction best practices.
Ensure that estimates meet client requirements
Create an accurate sketch of project
Recognize project constraints and/or needed upgrades
Deliver and communicate estimate to Construction Manager
Work with outside resources as necessary to complete accurate estimate (i.e. Structural Engineers,ITEL,Electrical Inspectors,etc)
Work with Construction Manager to price bid items.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; relevant construction certifications preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience in construction or restoration work.
Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call shifts.
