- Assess and evaluate property damage to determine the scope of construction work needed.
- Educate customer on the construction process
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely completion of construction tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to provide project updates.
- Utilize tools and equipment safely and efficiently for construction tasks.
- Document project progress and report any issues to management.
- Assist in training new team members on construction best practices.
- Ensure that estimates meet client requirements
- Create an accurate sketch of project
- Recognize project constraints and/or needed upgrades
- Deliver and communicate estimate to Construction Manager
- Work with outside resources as necessary to complete accurate estimate (i.e. Structural Engineers,ITEL,Electrical Inspectors,etc)
- Work with Construction Manager to price bid items.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant construction certifications preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in construction or restoration work.
- Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call shifts.
