Traveling Superintendent – Commercial Construction
Location: Nationwide (Candidates can reside anywhere in the U.S.) Travel: Required – Home approximately once per month
Overview A well-established commercial general contractor headquartered in Wichita is seeking experienced Traveling Superintendents to join their growing team. With a strong national project backlog, this opportunity offers long-term stability and the chance to work on a wide range of commercial construction projects across the country.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day field operations on assigned projectsManage project schedules, subcontractors, and site safetyEnsure quality control and adherence to project specificationsCoordinate with project managers, clients, and stakeholdersDrive projects to successful, on-time completionQualificationsProven experience as a Superintendent in commercial constructionBackground managing projects in one or more of the following sectors:HospitalityData centersMultifamilyCommercial projects ($15M – $60M range)Additional opportunities available for those experienced in:RestaurantsRetailLight commercial projects
Willingness and ability to travel extensively
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive base compensation
Weekly per diem$600/month vehicle allowance
Fuel reimbursement
Project completion bonus (paid within 60 days of project completion)
