Job Details

The Construction Superintendent will oversee day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on-site and takes ownership of project execution from groundbreaking to closeout.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including subcontractor scheduling and sequencingEnforce jobsite safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulationsMonitor project schedules and proactively address delays or conflictsConduct quality control inspections throughout construction phasesCoordinate with project managers, owners, architects, and inspectorsMaintain daily logs, progress reports, and site documentationLead pre-construction and weekly progress meetings with trade partners

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent on commercial projectsStrong knowledge of commercial construction means, methods, and best practicesExperience with industrial, institutional, and/or mixed-use project types preferredOSHA 30 certification preferredExcellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsProficiency with scheduling software (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar)
