The Superintendent will lead day‑to‑day field operations on fast‑paced commercial interior projects, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and subcontractor performance. Description
The Superintendent will be responsible for:
- Overseeing all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project close-out
- Managing subcontractors, schedules, site logistics, and daily work plans
- Ensuring project are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards
- Coordinating closely with with project managers, clients, and design teams
- Maintaining site documentation, inspections, and compliance with company safety protocols
- Leading and mentoring field staff while fostering a collaborative, team-oriented jobsite culture
Profile
A successful Superintendent should have:
- Proven experience as a Superintendent on commercial interior or tenant improvement projects
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, means and methods, and scheduling
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors in fast-track environments
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Willingness to work on projects throughout the DMV
