Lead Commercial Construction Projects
Our client is an established Maine general contractor specializing in commercial renovation, restoration, and building envelope projects. With decades of industry experience and a lean, collaborative team structure, they offer employees direct access to leadership and meaningful project responsibility.
Oversee daily on-site construction activities and coordinate work across active project areas.
Monitor project schedules and address field issues that may affect planned work.
Coordinate subcontractor activities to maintain clear site priorities and progress.
Review completed work to confirm it aligns with project plans and site expectations.
Maintain site records, including daily activity updates and project documentation.
Promote safe work practices and address on-site safety concerns as they arise.
Communicate project updates, schedule needs, and field conditions with internal project contacts.
Help keep construction sites prepared for upcoming work and project milestones.
A successful Superintendent should have:
Experience overseeing on-site construction activities.
Experience coordinating subcontractors and daily field schedules.
Ability to read and follow construction plans and project documentation.
Experience tracking site progress and reporting field conditions.
Knowledge of practical job-site safety practices.
Ability to identify construction issues and coordinate timely next steps.
Permanent Superintendent position in Northern Maine.
Salary range of $100,000 to $130,000.
