Job Description
Mid-sized, veteran-owned general contractor is looking to add a superintendent to their team due to project demand. This firm maintains a tight-knit culture while working on highly complex builds, many times through joint ventures with $1B+ contractors. See below for more details. All work local to SE WisconsinOccasionally partner with larger GCs on joint ventures
Culture centered around a tight-knit, family-like culture
DescriptionOversee day-to-day construction activities to ensure healthcare projects stay on schedule and within budget
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel to maintain efficient workflow
Enforce strict compliance with healthcare regulations, codes, and safety standards (e.g., infection control)Collaborate with project managers, architects, and hospital stakeholders to address project requirements
Monitor quality control to ensure all work meets design specifications and healthcare facility standards
Manage site logistics, including material deliveries, equipment usage, and site access in active medical environments
Identify and resolve construction issues, conflicts, or delays in real time
Maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, inspections, and compliance records
Profile2+ years of general contracting experience, preferably in the healthcare, commercial, or municipal markets.Knowledge of all relevant safety guidelines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Trades background or construction management degree preferred, but not required
Job OfferCompetitive base salary of $90,000 to $120,000 based on qualifications
Monthly vehicle allowance3-4 weeks PTO (negotiable) + all federal holidays
