Job Details
Oversee day-to-day field operations and coordinate all on-site construction activities for industrial projectsSupervise union craft personnel, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budgetPlan, sequence, and manage construction processes including shutdowns, start-ups, and fast-track schedulesEnforce strict safety protocols, quality standards, and compliance with plans and specificationsCoordinate material deliveries, equipment, and logistics while monitoring progress and resolving field issues in real timeCollaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to maintain clear communication and project alignmentConduct regular site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety trainingUtilize project controls systems for scheduling, reporting, and documentationSupport pre-construction planning and contribute to successful project closeout
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or equivalent field leadership role on heavy industrial, power, steel, or petrochemical projectsStrong background managing union craft labor and multi-trade crewsDemonstrated ability to deliver complex or fast-track projects on schedule and within budgetExcellent knowledge of construction safety practices, quality control, and industrial construction methodsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project schedulesStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in a field environmentWillingness to work on active industrial sites and travel as project needs require
