  • Conduct field walkdowns, review access routes, identify obstructions, and support resolution of field issues.

  • Interpret drawings, survey plans, and environmental or land-use constraints.

  • Support outage coordination, sequencing, and field readiness activities as assigned.

  • Prepare daily field reports and communicate progress, risks, and constraints.

  • Promote and uphold safety expectations consistent with utility and CARIAN standards.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in transmission, distribution, construction supervision, or utility field operations.

  • Background as a lineman, construction supervisor, field inspector, or utility owner representative is preferred.

  • Hands-on experience with GIS platforms or survey data capture tools.

  • Ability to verify field conditions and align them with engineering and GIS requirements.

  • Strong communication skills and comfort working directly in the field with survey crews and contractors.

  • Ability to walk right of way, navigate terrain, and travel daily across the corridor.

  • Valid driver license.

Why CARIAN

  • Purpose-driven work. Help deliver infrastructure that powers communities.

  • Industry reputation. Trusted by leading utilities for our reliability and results.

  • Career growth. Opportunities to lead major programs and mentor high-performing teams.

  • Collaborative culture. Join a team that values delivery excellence and long-term relationships.

  • Competitive total rewards. Strong compensation, full benefits, 401(k) match, and meaningful work.
