Job Description
- Operate inspection and surveillance equipment
- Utilize knowledge of construction disciplines, including civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and electronic engineering
- Read and analyze construction designs and blueprints to determine intended use
- Analyze structural designs and complexities that may conceal unintended or unauthorized purposes
- Apply knowledge of Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) and surveillance detection principles
- Write detailed reports in English documenting findings, issues, and security situations
- Maintain daily logs during assigned shifts
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in at least one of the following areas:
- Construction security surveillance
- Technical surveillance countermeasures
- Industrial or government security involving counterintelligence
- Construction quality assurance
- Supervisory construction experience
- Experience using alarm systems, metal detectors, x-ray devices, and closed-circuit television systems
- Experience using alarm systems, metal detectors, x-ray devices, and closed-circuit television systems
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints
- Ability to analyze designs and structural complexities
- Knowledge of construction disciplines (civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical, electronic engineering)
- Knowledge of Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM)
- Familiarity with IC Tech Spec, Version 1.5.1 for ICD/ICS 705
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and produce written reports and analyses
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, and move throughout secure facilities for extended periods of time
- Position may require occasional lifting and/or movement of moderate amounts of weight, depending on assignment requirements
- Prior experience with NRO or NSA within the past 12–18 months for crossover suitability
Employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds, but may vary depending on the position. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
