Construction Tradesman (Mobile)

This role will assist numerous facilities in the South Charlotte area to include: retail, Single family rentals, residential properties, industrial.

Experience in moderate construction work required: ex.

Patch work

Tile replacement

Fence repair

Painting of small spaces

Roof patching

Caulking exteriors of buildings

Cutting doors

Some demolition, etc.

Family-owned property investment company that develops, owns, and operates commercial and residential properties primarily in the Charlotte, NC-area is in search for a Mobile Construction Tradesman to assist with requests as needed.

The company focuses on key urban locations in Charlotte with the potential for mixed-use development.

• Seeking a hard-working individual with a healthy work ethic and “go getter” mentality.  This is a hands-on field position that will report to the Construction Manager with a dotted line to the Director of Maintenance.

• Support for this position at times of larger tasks may include in house labor and outside vendors however, the individual must be confident to take on solo duties and jobs. 

• Your daily tasks are communicated through a Facility Manager work-order system created by our property managers and tenant requests which the candidate will need to become familiar with and keep daily logs of their hours for payroll in the form of a mobile app or computer entry.

Vehicle provided to travel throughout the Charlotte Metro area.

Requirements

Experience with the following tools:

Drills, Sawzall, jack hammer, levels, drywall knifes, chop saw, ram set gun, sledge hammer, tape measure, shop vac, laser level, working off ladders, pressure washer, leaf blower, drain snake and other hand tools.

In addition, driving company vehicles and operating rental equipment such as work truck, dump truck, skid steer, mini excavator, dingo, concrete saw, trailers, boom lifts and scissor lifts.

Must have a valid Driver's License
