Introduction
As a Network & Security Engineer, you will oversee the entire Network and Security Architecture, coordinating with design, implementation, and troubleshooting teams to ensure seamless operations. You will be part of a dynamic learning culture that values teamwork, collaboration, and diversity.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8 years of IT experience in design, development, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of complex Network & Security devices, Network Security, and Linux Kernel Programming.
- CCNP or equivalent certifications required; CCIE is optional.
- Strong knowledge of Routing (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP) and Switching (Nexus switches, VPC, VDC, VXLAN, HSRP, STP, Etherchannel).
- Experience with Multi-vendor firewalls like Cisco FTD, Paloalto, Panorama, VPN (IPsec, Site to Site, Remote access), Loadbalancer (Citrix or F5), Cisco Client (AAA), and Monitoring tools such as Solarwinds.
- Hands-on experience with Automation/Network Scripting.
- Ability to install, configure, and maintain networks and related hardware (Cisco 29XX, 35XX, 37XX, 45XX, 65XX), Nexus (9k & 7K), ASR, and software.
- Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with NSX, Cloud Network (Azure), and Gigamon (TA, HC1P, Taps).
- Familiarity with Security protocols like RADIUS and TACACS.
- Strong documentation and time management skills.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Analyze and assess computer/network architecture requirements to determine optimum, cost-effective solutions.
- Provide project management support for implementation, installation, configuration, and technical support of computer and network architecture.
- Participate in inventory management of software licenses, software, hardware, and other IT supplies as per the defined process.
- Maintain a broad knowledge of current and emerging state-of-the-art computer/network systems technologies, architectures, and products.
