Overview

The Unitized Valuation Reporting Services (UVRS) department is part of the Global Fund Services Practice under Asset Servicing. The department supports large Institutional clients by providing Net Asset Valuations (NAVs) and Annual reporting timely and accurately. The majority of the client base consists of Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit plans. In addition, UVRS provides exceptional operational support and consultation to both external and internal parties. These parties include clients, auditors, 3rd party recordkeepers, client servicing, operational support, and performance teams.

We have a balanced hybrid working model to ensure you get the flexibility you need, and the successful candidate will spend their time between working in the office and working from home.

Major Duties :

  1. Responsible for providing client service through the execution of daily functions and tasks.

  2. Understand and enhance desktop operating procedures and controls.

  3. Responsible for providing timely response to queries and finding resolution to avoid repetitive actions.

  4. Works effectively both as a team member as well as an independent self-motivated individual.

  5. Responsible for multiple projects of various complexities.

  6. Cross train on other functions as well as provide back up.

  7. Serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to junior level employees.

  8. Able to identify opportunities for improvement within existing technology applications while acting as a liaison with Partner areas to drive resolution.

  9. Independently build relationships with internal and client contacts.

  10. Responsible for understanding client's business needs and deliverables.

  11. Act as the escalation point of contact for client issues or inquiries.

  12. Understand current Service Level Agreements (SLAs) that are directly related to job function(s).

  13. Establish, build & maintain effective working relationships with key partners internal and external to the organization.

  14. Drive the engagement of other partners as appropriate to solve client inquiries/issues.

  15. Understand impact of personal job function(s) on IOO peers and applicable shared services partners.

Experience :

  • A college or university degree and/or 4-6+ years of relevant work experience
  • Previous Financial Industry Operations, Asset Management and/or Investment Operations experience a plus
  • Previous exposure to business process and/or technology enhancement initiatives
  • Previous Client Service experience in a service oriented environment

Salary Range:

$63,365 - 107,635 USD

Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
