Consumer Recovery SpecialistNorthwest Center for Behavioral Health (NCBH) is seeking a dedicated Consumer Recovery Specialist to join our inpatient team to support patients and staff in the behavioral health treatment setting. This position will play an integral role in providing direct and indirect care to individuals in need of behavioral health support. As a Consumer Recovery Specialist you will assist in creating a safe, supportive environment ensuring excellent care is received. You will be instrumental in promoting wellness and safety, helping de-escalate difficult situations and providing guidance as a role model for the unit. You will take the lead in therapeutic options , the support of nursing staff and assist in the admissions process. Key Responsibilities:Provide Direct and Indirect care of patients promoting mental and emotional well-beingEnsure Safety and Well-Being by participating in de-escalation efforts and providing therapeutic options support activitiesRole Model by demonstrating effective problem-solving, decision-making and leadershipJob Type/Salary:
- Open/Close dates: 3/2/2026 - 3/16/2026
- Full-time
- Hourly rate: $17.09 + differentials
- $.50 Evenings and Nights, $.75 Weekends/Holidays and $1.00 Direct Care
- Primary Working Hours: 3:30 pm – 2:00 am
- 10 Hour Shifts Th F Sa Su
- FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
- Primary Work Location/Department: NCBH Fort Supply Inpatient Unit
- Vacancies: 2
- Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver's license.
- Upon a conditional offer of employment, ODMHSAS applicants must submit to a physical examination and shall meet the physical examination requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 50 pounds and able to push and pull a maximum force of 25 pounds.
