Job Summary

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, Axiom, with the spin planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, a company focused on critical digital infrastructure and delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a/an Continuity Tester inUSA Fontana, Ca.

Report to the Production Manager, Continuity Tester, is responsible for testing electrical systems and equipment to detect faulty wiring.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Inspects wiring of assemblies for accuracy of stripping, soldering, and crimping; look for frayed wires and loose connections
  • Examines assemblies and wiring  of components for completeness of assembly, quality, and conformance to specifications
  • Tests wiring for relay and control panels to determine continuity
  • Identify any product defects; record and report them accordingly
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-4 years of experience in wiring or testing electrical components
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform work accurately
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, equipment maintenance, and safety management
  • Reading comprehension skills with the ability to interpret and follow written directions, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic math skills to meet technical specifications and measurements undefined

What the physical requirements are:

  • Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time
  • Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.
  • Must wear PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection, while working on the production floor
