Job DetailsResponsibilitiesLead continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing scrap, improving OEE, and optimizing cycle times.Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives including Kaizen, 5S, SMED, Kanban, and Value Stream Mapping.Analyze manufacturing data to identify process improvement opportunities.Conduct Root Cause Analysis utilizing 8D, Fishbone, and 5 Why methodologies.Improve process capability and reduce variation throughout manufacturing operations.Support APQP, PPAP, and FMEA activities for new and existing products.Improve tooling performance and reduce mold changeover times.Develop Standard Work and manufacturing documentation.Lead automation and process improvement initiatives.Train manufacturing personnel on Lean methodologies and Continuous Improvement tools.Support new product launches and manufacturing process development.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related Engineering discipline2+ years of Automotive Manufacturing experienceLean Manufacturing experienceSix Sigma (Green Belt preferred)Strong analytical and data analysis skillsExperience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and IATF 16949Preferred ExperiencePlastic or Rubber Injection MoldingAutomotive Tier 1 manufacturingAutomotive sealing systemsOEE improvement initiativesScrap reductionCycle time optimizationTooling optimizationAutomation projectsExcel and MinitabThis role offers the opportunity to lead meaningful operational improvements within a growing automotive manufacturing environment where continuous improvement is a core part of the company's culture.
