The Impact You'll MakeCI Engineer (The Change Agent) will be responsible for managing the Lean manufacturing initiatives in our Forest City, NC facility. This person will be required to identify, coordinate, lead, and implement process improvements to achieve a 10% year-on-year productivity improvement.What You'll Be DoingResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Lead, manage, and develop the local lean manufacturing initiativeActively lead the development of the local site lean manufacturing strategy, lean culture, and provide leadershipEnsure cooperation and compliance with corporate lean initiative and divisional guidelines and standardsProvide input, distribute, and follow up on lean manufacturing targetsClosely monitor KPIs and ensure corrective actions on deviations to the planLead the roll-out of lean activities/programsWork with employees to achieve productivity improvements that support the operating budget/targetsWork with Value Stream Managers to develop rolling Tactical Implementation Plans (TIP) that include improvement targets that meet or exceed Danfoss Drives' targetsWork with the organization to ensure lean concepts and tools are used in daily workContinue to develop personal skill set in the application of lean tools and overall competencies in Danfoss DrivesPerform other duties as assignedWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, or Operations Management3 years' experience working in an extensive lean manufacturing programExperience in MRP II Systems; SAP preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)Results-oriented with a track record of delivering bottom-line improvementsTeam leadership and development skillsWhat You'll Get from UsAt Danfoss, we believe that a diverse and inclusive workplace fosters creativity, innovation, and a broader perspective in decision-making.
