Contract Certified Nursing Assistant- Psych Terrell, Texas- 26 weeks

Job Requirements
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Certifications Requirements:
- Valid CNA license for the state of Texas.*
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.*
- Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) certification preferred.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of psychiatric CNA experience.*
- Proven experience working with psychiatric patient populations.*
- Experience in a hospital or psychiatric facility setting.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to verify CNA license via the Texas Tulip system.*
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.*
- Ability to work flexible shifts including days, evenings, and nights.*
- Physical ability to assist patients with mobility and daily activities.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to psychiatric patients, ensuring safety and comfort.*
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.*
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient observations and interventions.*
- Execute medication reminders and assist with daily living activities.*
- Document patient progress and report any significant changes to the supervising nurse.
