Contract Director of Nursing (Skilled Nursing) Winona, Minnesota - 26 weeks

Job Requirements
Education Requirements:
- Valid Minnesota RN license
Certifications Requirements:
- AHA BLS Certification (required)
- CPR Certification (preferred)
- ACLS Certification (desired)
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 2+ years of geriatric nursing experience
- At least 2 years in a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility
- Previous Manager, Lead, or DON experience strongly preferred
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including occasional weekends and holidays
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency with Matrix EMR system preferred

Job Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight to nursing staff, ensuring high standards of patient care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans tailored to patient needs.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and facility policies and procedures.
- Document care activities accurately and promptly using the Matrix EMR system.
- Execute staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to optimize team efficiency.
