Connected Health Care, a leading healthcare recruitment and staffing firm, is partnering with a highly respected Critical Access Hospital near St. Francis, Kansas, to hire an experienced Travel Obstetrics (OB) Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment.

Position Details
Position: Travel OB Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Near St. Francis, KS
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Night Shift
Hours: 36 Hours Weekly (3x12s)
Setting: Critical Access Hospital
Compensation: Up to $2,700 per week
OB Registered Nurse Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care for laboring, postpartum, and antepartum patients.
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery.
Assist physicians and providers during deliveries and obstetric procedures.
Perform newborn assessments and provide immediate post-delivery care.
Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, newborn care, breastfeeding, and discharge planning.
Respond quickly and effectively during obstetric emergencies.
Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pediatric providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care.
Education & Certification Requirements
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Kansas or Compact License preferred)
Current BLS Certification
Current ACLS Certification
Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
Fetal Monitoring certification preferred
Minimum of 2 years of recent OB/Labor & Delivery nursing experience
Previous Critical Access Hospital experience preferred but not required
