Together, we are building the future of healthcare excellence.Travel Radiation TherapistLocation: Clinton, IADuration: 13-week assignment (with potential extension)Shift: 5x8s, 7:00am - 3:30pm, Pay Package: Taxable Wages - $1640Nontaxable weekly stipend - $1,246Gross Weekly Pay - $2886?Position SummaryThe Radiation Therapist is an ideal opportunity, delivering external beam radiation therapy in accordance with the prescription and instruction of the Radiation Oncology physician and Medical Radiation Physicist. In this role you will apply your radiotherapy expertise, attention to detail and your service orientation to your daily work functions.Responsibilities
- Accurately and safely deliver the prescribed planned course of radiation therapy per department procedures as follows:
- You will observe patients for unusual physical and psychological reactions, and report all observations/events immediately to the Clinical Nurse Specialist and/or the Radiation Oncology physician and assists in any emergency treatment
- You will maintain daily treatment schedule and works cooperatively with the physician, physics staff, and front office staff for scheduling treatment times, simulations and diagnostic studies
